These are fantastic bowls. I will say I thought they were perfect until I used my hand mixer and the bottom of the bowl completely scratched. I wish it would not scratch, but I will still use them since they are meant for baking.
Great bowls that feel like they will last forever. Keep in mind though that with those non-slip bottoms the bowls will want to tip over rather than slide if you move them around.
The only thing that could make these bowls even more perfect would be a set of lids. I love being able to simultaneously whisk or stir & pour without worrying about my bowl moving across my counter.
These are well-constructed, light-to-medium weight mixing bowls.
The exteriors are lightly brushed to help hide scratches, but the interiors are polished, and will show wear over time. You will get several good years of use out of these, but these are not generational bowls that you will hand down to your children.
Unlike commercial stainless mixing bowls, the metal is thin enough that it will show dents if you drop them or crash them into anything hard. The brushing on the exterior is understated and won't do much to stop wear from showing, and unlike commercial brushed stainless bowls, these will show fingerprints.
The lips are handy and the bowls "feel" good during use (good weight, well balanced.)
Decent quality overall and a good buy for the money, especially for someone who won't be using them every day but still wants a quality product. The smallest of the 3 is smaller than you usually see in a set of no-slip mixing bowls, and the largest is big enough for bread or a double batch of cookies. They nest well and are easy to pull one bowl out for use. If you use a power mixer a lot, this is not the solution. Get a glass or commercial metal bowl made for it.
Although they claim to be dishwasher safe, I would not subject the bases to that much heat. That's a natural weak link with two part bowls like these.
Likely the last Set of mixing bowls Ill ever need
Theses are a great range of sizes and replaced my collection of ancient and chipped melamine bowls. The only addition Id appreciate is if they had a pour spout and extended lip opposite as a handle since the smallest one is hard to get out when theyre stacked unless you pick up the whole collection and tip them to get enough room to get your fingers on the rim of the smaller ones. But considering the functionality of the set that comes under the header of mild annoyance.
Wanted bowls that were lighter to lift. These fit the bill100% and clean up beautifully. No scratching yet and love the non slip bottom. Dare I say perfect functionally. Would have paid double the price they are so terrific .
The are nicely made and have some heft to them. I ordered another brand for my home...these were for my boat. Will say big difference trying to save $15. Go for these.
Was initially hesitant to buy these mixing bowls because of the price. Once received and I started using them I find them worth the price tag. Definitely a value purchase solely based on the quality of the bowls. Well made and sturdy material. Easy to clean.
These bowls are easy to clean, stay on the counter when you need to use force - like cutting butter into pastry dough - lightweight and nest well together. I wish there was one larger bowl to the set.
I use these all the time; the largest one I use at least twice a day to mix salads, prepare vegetables to roast, etc. I use my rubber coated tongs inthem.
I love the nonskid bottoms. I have regular (skid) mixing bowls already, and these ones have quickly become my favorite. It makes a big difference during prep.
I upgraded to these bowls from a plastic set I used for years baking and cooking with the grandchildren. I absolutely love them. The stable bottoms stay put on my granite surface. Spend a little more and get this set-you deserve it!!
The best thing for me is that I don't have to put towels under my bowls so they stay in place anymore. So much easier! And these don't mar the counter. These replace a nice stainless set I had and I think these are even better - a thick stainless with a matte finish on the outside and shiny stainless on the inside. Perfect for mixing and easy cleaning.
Love these bowls with the non-slip bottom. Good variety of sizes and affordable price. My only issue is that they show marks from my electric hand mixer after only one use, which I didn't expect. My other stainless steel bowls don't show these marks. There are no scratches on the interior surface of the bowls, so it appears to be cosmetic only.
I love the weight of the bowls, and they do not slip around on the counter when using. Replaced melamine bowls with the stainless steel bowls. Good quality stainless steel.
Perfect bowls for Bakers - Need thumb ring on edge
The sizes are great for any kind of baking. Easy clean, and space saving. They don't skid away on the counter, making for easy use, especially in a small kitchen. They're only missing one thing, a ring on the edge. Hooking ones thumb into a ring makes mixing easier and needed for pouring out batter for big cakes, like a Bundt.
I bought this set for my mom who was looking for bowls with a non-skid base. I was cooking with her this past weekend and these worked beautifully. Really great quality in both the stainless and the non-skid.
