I had another Phillips smokeless grill but when I move I left it behind. I feel lost without it. I have heard about other smokeless grills that do not work but the Phillips is great! If you can't get out to grill this is a great alternative.

BEST ANSWER: We only found it directly from Phillips company. We also discovered pre-heating on high for at least 10 minutes really helped to sear SousVide meats.
Just how smokeless is this? My condo smoke detectors go off at anything including steam at times.

BEST ANSWER: I place the grill close to my kitchen exhaust fan and have never noticed any smoke. Our smoke alarm is very sensitive too, but it has never gone off while I was grilling.

BEST ANSWER: You get the searing but no it's not the same flavor as cooking on an outdoor BBQ.

BEST ANSWER: We use the Simple green and softer sponge. It doesn't clean super clean but our Smoke-less grill is still working strong. We use it quite often.

Now that you all have been using this for a year or so, are there any negative issues you have encountered? Does the nonstick grill top give off weird odor as most do?

BEST ANSWER: Hi, I have been using this indoor grill often. It was totally great to grill any kind of meat as your desire. Most of the time, I marinate the meat an hour prior to grilling. For chicken bread, I add a little olive oil and butter on chicken to keep it moist; do the same for filet mignon. Belt Pepper or corn on the cob are great on this grill as well along to make your meal completed with out to cook extra.
After grilling, the nonstick grill top can be washed with dish soap and water. Same with the bottom tray. For the inside grill area, I lean it with wet soft sponge 🧽.

BEST ANSWER: No, it does not. It is an excellent grill and we no longer use our outdoor grill or the grill on the cooktop. Love this grill!
Can I set a cast iron griddle on the grate, or would the heat not transfer to the griddle? Looking for space saving solutions for multiple cooking options to keep in our RV.

We love to grill inside during the off-season. This one is great,truly smokeless, easy to clean.I would contact the manufacturer about using it as a heat source for the griddle-it's not the same as a portable burner.
It says it’s good for tailgating! If it’s electric, how can I use it for tailgating?

BEST ANSWER: Power inverters are available for vehicle use, but at 1800 watts, you'd need to buy one that handles 2000 watts to make sure it would work. May need to hook to a direct connection rather than plug into the 12v power tap.
